About Me
I was born the youngest of four in west-central Illinois, which gave me ample freedom to explore my imagination. Growing up in my father's store, I was also instilled with the drive to see a job through to completion and pitching in anywhere I could. And thanks to an early love of movies, I knew I wanted to make my mark informing and entertaining others.
Utilizing the resources afforded to me at Starz Entertainment, I got results by conceptualizing, developing, and producing national and international content by managing a team of editors and designers. From image campaigns, to stunts, to tune-ins, I got to work with critically acclaimed Original Series promotions as well as the biggest Hollywood blockbuster movies, with some grossing over a billion dollars globally.
Moving into the world of Learning and Development, I had a terrific time transitioning from creative marketing to adult learning as each share many core principles. At Viasat, I was surrounded by many incredibly talented Instructional Designers and Developers, as well as other multimedia producers. Together, we produced extremely effective and lasting learning content for a wide variety of audiences, reaching several thousand learners.
I currently live in Kansas City with my wife and two children.
